There’s the obvious attraction of taking part
in a course at the home of the British Grand Prix.
We’re based in the Champions Room looking down
on the starting grid and next to the winners’ podium.
There are team exercises in the pits, and racing
round the world famous circuits in the latest Lotus
Exige does have its appeal.
What’s less obvious
is the management learning that is absorbed through
the practical exercises and our unique Driving Analogy.
This is used as a device throughout the session to
translate the experiences of the track and the pits
to techniques that can be applied to their teamwork
in their workplace.
The Team Silverstone programmes also provide the foundation
of our Introductory Certificate and our Introductory
Diploma in Management, certificated by the CMI and
the ILM. These programmes will not
only boost performance but also enhance your colleagues’ career
prospects.
