We’re not in the business of mediocrity and our management training is based on a combination of trusted techniques and theory, new areas of thinking and research and practical activities that bring alive the learning for participants. There’s as much time spent in the classroom reviewing and learning from the exercises as there is on the track.

The Driving Analogy we have developed is unique to Team Silverstone giving participants a powerful new device for exploring leadership techniques, personal and organisational change and team working. It includes Vision, Planning, Performance Measures and dealing with unexpected hazards as well as looking at Tasks, Behaviours and Processes.

Our driving metaphor is accompanied by a series of team and individual worksheets to translate the learning into practical applications in their own workplace.  We begin to work on these at Silverstone and encourage delegates to take them back to their workplace to continue the development work after our session.

To see how the practical exercises are used to illustrate the Team development and Leadership concepts, take a look at our Team Development Activities (click here for information) and then visit the schedule for our one day Team Development session (click here for information) to see how the exercises and classroom reviews fit together.
